Melius Consulting Limited is an independent board advisory and strategy advisory practice based in Guernsey, working with owner-managed businesses and small boards across the Channel Islands.
We exist because most Guernsey SMEs reach a point where the people around the board table — however talented — are too close to the business to see it clearly. They need an independent voice: someone with the experience to ask the right questions, the financial literacy to understand the answers, and the commercial instinct to help the business move forward.
That’s what Melius does.
Jon Bond
Jon Bond is the founder of Melius Consulting and CEO of Evans Bond Limited, one of Guernsey’s established chartered certified accountancy and advisory practices.
A chartered certified accountant with more than two decades of experience in Guernsey business, Jon has worked with owner-managed companies, family businesses, and growing SMEs at every stage — from formation through to succession and exit.
Alongside his work at Evans Bond, Jon serves as a Non-Executive Chairman of CI Co-op and Non-Executive Chairman of Isle of Sark Shipping Company Limited — roles which give him direct experience of board dynamics, governance, and independent challenge from the inside. Alongside this, he also works with a number of local charities.
He founded Melius because he kept seeing the same pattern: capable business owners, talented teams, and boards that had never had anyone in the room whose job was simply to ask “why?” and “what if?”.

Melius is a separate practice to Evans Bond. Evans Bond handles accountancy, tax, compliance and business advisory — the essential financial infrastructure of your business. Melius handles the questions that sit above the numbers: strategy, governance, leadership, and growth.
Many Melius clients are also Evans Bond clients. Some are not. Either way, the work is independent, and the advice is always given with one goal: helping your business make better decisions.
